PRHS holds the first stunt competition in its history
Varsity cheer will have its first stunt competition at PRHS on March 27 and then its second on March 30. Â The PRHS varsity cheer squad will go against four high schools including Santa Barbara High School and Arroyo Grande High School. Â Having practiced everyday after school until four p.m.-sometimes 4:30- after school since mid December, the girls feel both excited and confident in themselves.
Coach Loney has put together a playlist for the girls to practice to and records the girls to go over how to make the routines better. Â Practice after practice, the girls have dedicated over 80 hours to their routines. Â Every sore muscle, ever drop of sweat has led to this.
