2. Mark or annotate for passages that illustrate:

a. WHY JOURNALISM MAKES A DIFFERENCE

b. FACTUAL & STORYTELLING DETAILS USED BY AUTHOR

3. Be prepared to write about your book, characters, and plot for Crimson summer training!

We will ask you to write a journalistic NEWS story that reports on a series of plot events from your novel.

Be thinking about the headlines & big events in your novel that could  run in a newsmagazine.
