This past weekend on April first, the PRHS Track and Field team traveled up to Buchanan High School in Clovis, CA to compete in West Coast Relays. One of the biggest highlights of the meet was senior Annie Meeder's record breaking mile time of 4:59.46.
On Saturday, Mar. 18, the PRHS girls swim team traveled to Arroyo Grande to compete in their Frosh/Soph invitational, setting four meet records, qualifying for CIF with five new times, and placing first in eight out of 11 events.

Senior Trad Berti ran the mile in 4:10.55 at the New Balance Azusa Meet of Champions the weekend of March 25-26, rocketing him to 1st in the state and possibly 3rd in the nation. He has the fastest PRHS 1600m time in history with nearly a 10 second margin over past PRHS record holders.
The Bearcat swim team came in strong on Friday March 10 against Saint Joseph. Freshman Audrey Hughes, sophomore Mackenzie Raymond, and senior Miranda Pasky all made CIF consideration in the first official meet of the season.
The varsity baseball team hosted a double header against Galena High School on Thursday March 9. The Bearcats fell in the first game 1-3, but picked up momentum in the fifth inning when freshman Hunter Barnhart scored for PRHS.
