Homecoming Assembly Fills Bearcats with School Spirit

Students and staff were greeted into the 2017 homecoming assembly pumped up by the PRHS band and the gym transformed into the setting of the classic movie The Wizard of Oz. The assembly started with the choir performing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” with Dorothy (Madecyn Penn 12) entering to start the production. Fellow PRHS students played the roles such as Tinman (Lily Seebart 12), Scarecrow (Shane McGuffin 11), the Cowardly “Bearcat” (Aiden Kerr 11), Glenda the good witch (Brooke Metcalf 12) and the Wicked witch (Taylor Perez 12). The crowd was taken on a journey through Oz and made many different stops to see people such as the foreign exchange students of PRHS and the 2017 homecoming court. Also seeing many amazing performances by the PRHS dance and cheer.
