Bearcats slay Warriors
The varsity football team added to the home coming joy by winning against the Righetti warriors on Friday Oct. 27. The game featured an amazing field goal by Cade England of 53 yards. The first quarter ended with seven points for the Warriors with the Bearcats still not touching the end zone.
Things kicked up in the second quarter when England scored a 2 yard Rushing TD and a second later in the quarter. The final points were scored in the third quarter with #2 Hunter Barnhart completing a pass to #11 Marshall Weisner for a TD. PRHS 23, Righetti 14. No points were scored in the fourth.
Winning this game places the team first in league above Arroyo Grande. The next game will be on Friday, Nov. 3 against their rival team Atascadero.
