Awarded Bearcat athletes

This year, 57 Bearcat athletes were announced Leo Award recipients. Such athletes were recognized by their coaches as well as the Leos Club for outstanding attitude, participation, and overall great athleticism. All sports are recognized from the freshman to varsity level.

In the spring season, 20 Bearcat athletes were awarded: Mathew Horne, Grant ScheiffeleJames Claassen, Matthew Mayfield, Shannen Dodds, Breanna Williams, Yalina Curry, Connor Nolan, Jacob Franklin, Connor Lacy, Victor Jimenez, Nicole Raithel, Jacob Franklin, Madison Homen, John East, Jeraly Escamilla, Codie Wilshusen, Julia Nunez, Micah Canales, and Genaro Zatarain.

Winter award winners include: Sulial Ngiraitpang, Marina Smeltzer, Ryan Gustafson, Emmaline Voorheis, Zane Warren, Jerahmy Kelly, John Cabral, Becca Stroud, Luis Villalobos, Nancy Torres, Sophie Prieto, Stephanie Cashmore, Diandra Wong, Victor Rodriguez, Marcus Rodriguez-Stemper, Gorgonio Gonzalez, Yahira Garcia, Ysabel Wulfing, and Jaymie Throop.

Fall sports athletes include: Matthew Horne, Jakob Dewhurst, Kaden Gallant, Zane Warren, Juan Angel Ventura, Mikayla Stone, Kaitlyn Pressley, Analicia DeLaPaz, Alexandra Fletes, Marin McNerney, Blair Baker, Luis Armendariz, Kylie Bridewell, Kade Berti, Faith Alviso, Hailey Indendi, Madison Owens, and Zaochi Tran.
