The girls water polo team beat Atascadero in close games on Tuesday, January 17, JV winning with a 7-5 result and Varsity 7-4. Freshman Tatiana and senior Marina Smeltzer led the game, with three goals each, senior Veronica Ayala making one goal. Two of Marina’s goals were five meter shots. Junior Lauren Root made nine saves as the goalie.
