Amanda+Snowbarger+Diagnosed+with+Leukemia

Sophomore Amanda Snowbarger has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow that is one of the most common types of child Leukemia and has a “good chance of cure,” according to Mayoclinic.org.

Doctors at Stanford Health Care have prescribed “intense [chemotherapy]” for Snowbarger for a month with plans of coming home afterwards. Doctors have said as of this posting that “everything is going according to plan,” as stated on Snowbarger’s Caringbridge page, where updates on her conditions can be found.
Donate to Snowbarger’s treatment on her GoFundMe page.
