Special Olympics is a time for people with disabilities, ranging from kids to adults,  to participate in a variety of sports and activities they may not have been exposed to in their day to day life. The athletes put in around ten weeks of training before the actual event. Giving all of them a chance to practice, it makes them realize which event they find more enjoyable or are simply better at than other oppositions. So come out and support your local athletes on May 5.
