    STUNT Tryouts Thurs 12/15

PRHS welcomes a new all female sport

PRHS is introducing a new spring sport on campus: competitive cheer leading. STUNT is a highly competitive form of cheer that focuses on the technical aspects of cheer such as partner stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, group jumps and tumbling rather than crowd leading (usacheer.net/stunt/highschoolstunt). “In traditional cheer you cheer for other people, in this one you go head to head on the mat; you have people cheering for you.” Coach Loney encourages those who are unsure of whether or not this sport is right for them to give it a try. Doors are open to anyone who has experience in tumbling, jumping, or just wants to be a part of the newest all girls team that PRHS has to offer. NCAA College Scholarships are available through STUNT, and no experience is necessary to try out. Tryouts will be held Thurs. 12/15 from 3-5 in the new gym. Mrs. Loney can be contacted for more information or visit highschoolstunt.org for videos of athletes in action.
