Bearcats beat rivals after a three year losing streak

The Atascadero Greyhound rival football game proved more than a spirit fest. This game held the results of PAC-5 second place record. After a 42-25, the Bearcats take on second place behind Arroyo Grande, with a 3-1 record.

Seniors Steven Schouten and Christian Erickson had fantastic performances  in their last regular season game. Schouten had 9 for 17 passes for 155 passing yards with one interception and one touchdown. Schouten also rushed 11 times for 121 yards.

Erickson had 297 yards on 28 carries. He also played hard on defense, catching an interception from the Greyhounds.

With their overall 8-2 record and 3-1 PAC-5 record the Bearcats move onto first round CIF against La Mirada on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7PM.
