Pac 8 League Prelims for the lady Bearcats took place on Tuesday, May 2 for girls and May 3 for the boys. Both girls and boys met again for PAC 8 Finals on May 4. The meet was held at Arroyo Grande High schools pool.
Both cold temperatures and triumphs filled the day, and almost all girl team members continued onto league finals. Many of the lady Bearcats set PRs including:
Freshmen Mackenzie Raymond who who placed 4th in the 500 free with a CIF consideration time of 5:22.08.
Freshmen Emily Christian, Junior Veronica Ayala, Junior Kasey Moffitt, and Junior Cece Ramirez placed 4th in the 200 medley relay and the girls received a CIF consideration time of 2:02.07.
Moffitt went on to earn CIF considerations in both the 500 free (5:22.94).and the 200 free with a time of 1:59.99. Moffit along with Ayala, Ramirez and Raymond placed 3rd in the 400 free relay qualifying a CIF consideration time of 3:54.32.
