PRHS- Varsity boys basketball started off strong on Wednesday, January 14, but lost 32-46 against Arroyo Grande. Scoring was led by Seniors Ty Jones, Trevor Wieger, and Sophomore Sebastian Galsim. Earlier in the week in Bearcat Country, the boy’s Varsity Basketball suffered a tough loss 59-43 against the Atascadero Greyhounds Monday, Jan. 11. Senior Ty Jones, along with Sophomores Sebastian Galsim and Dante Coletta, set the team up for a close game going into the second quarter 13-11, Greyhounds. Galsim and Jones were on a roll, both scoring three pointers in the second quarter, bringing the score at halftime to 30-20, Greyhounds. The Greyhounds still held the lead 41-30 at the end of the third quarter. Wrapping up the fourth quarter, Galsim earned two points with 43 seconds left on the clock, bringing the score to a closing of 59-43.
