Bearcats shutout the pirates

Junior running back Mark Armstrong runs the ball back from a kickoff return for 23 yards. Armstrong ran for a total of 39 yards in the Bearcat’s 49-0 win on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015.

The Bearcats shipwrecked the Pirates 49-0 on Friday, Oct. 2.

Junior running back Christian Erickson ran 150 yards on seven carries and had two of seven touchdowns of the night. Senior Ronnie Ochoa also scored two touchdowns. Senior linebacker Matt Kellar had one touchdown in the night as well as senior Robert Mares.

League play starts for the ‘Cats against the Arroyo Grande Eagles, this upcoming week: Friday, Oct. 9.
